This is a blog to document the progress on a Minecraft texture pack I'm making in the style of Gearbox Software's Borderlands.

Hab Da Pumkin!



Happy New Year!

So I just finished the pass on the terrain texture. Hooray!





What does this mean for the texture pack? Well, I'm going to move on to doing the characters, weapons, and GUI. The goal is to truck on through this and have the first version of the pack ready to go by the end of this week. Possibly Friday, most likely Sunday (the 9th).

Ah the nefarious slip gate. Notice the plethora of items in my inventory before I go inside...

I'm still experimenting with how the texture is set up with the water but it's getting there.

I just wanted to show the pumpkin here. I've only ran into one playing the game so far. And you can also see the sprouting wheat and the red stone trails.

    Heya!
    Just wanted to say Thanks! I loved Borderlands my boyfriend and I play it with friends still to this day.. those same friends happen to play MC. When I stumbled upon your EPIC Bordercraft textures I had to get them! Yet again that awesome surreal feeling that you get on BL seeps through to MC. I had to share this pack with all of my friends! Looking forward to more of your work. Simply Amazing!
